This month RPB® are joining forces for Movember to bring awareness to issues that plague men's health. Some of us are growing (or trying to grow) some great mos, while others are making it their mission to move. How can you help? Show your support for the RPB Safety Movember team by donating to the movement, or follow our progress throughout the month on social media and share your own mo with hashtag #rpbmo.
During the month of August RPB® will be raising funds and awareness for childhood hunger, an issue faced by millions of families throughout our country who struggle to provide enough food for their children on a regular basis. $5 from every Nova 3® or Z-Link® sold will go directly to the No Kid Hungry campaign. We'll also contribute $1 for every 'Like' and 'Share' our campaign receives on Facebook!
To those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great country, we are forever grateful. Throughout June, $5 from every Nova 3® we sell will go directly to the Believe With Me organization. In addition to this, we’ll donate $1 for every 'Like' or 'Share' our campaign receives on Facebook!
This February we are raising funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by donating $20 from the sale of every GX4® Gas Monitor, $5 from the sale of every Radex® Airline Filter and $5 from the sale of every PX4 Air® PAPR directly to the Foundation. In addition, for every ‘Like’ or ‘Share’ our campaign receives on Facebook, we’ll donate another $1 directly to the Foundation! What’s not to like!
Every year thousands of kids in America are diagnosed with cancer. This summer, to raise the hearts and hopes of those kids who won’t be able to enjoy the outdoors, we will be hand-delivering a whole bunch of new toys to local hospitals! For every RPB® product* sold during August, we will hand-deliver a brand new toy to a kid who is hospitalized fighting the good fight!
Amy and Emma Dozier’s lives were changed irrevocably on January 9th 2008 when their hero, Staff Sergeant Jonathan Doziers’ life was lost when his unit was hit by an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) in Iraq. One of their greatest sources of support was from the non-profit organization ‘Believe With Me’. RPB® are pleased to show our support for ‘Believe With Me’ during the month of May by donating $5 for every Nova 3® or Nova 2000® purchased and $10 for every Z-Link®.
This month, to show our full commitment in the battle against Cystic Fibrosis we at RPB® Safety will be donating $20 from the sale of every GX4® Gas Monitor and $5 from the sale of every Radex® Airline Filter directly to the fight!
Once again, for the month of October, RPB is raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). This year we are also promoting awareness through social media: as well as selling the Pink Nova 3 (of which 100% of every sale goes directly to NBCF), we are offering a reward to the person who wears the pink helmet for a month, shares images and gets the most likes on Facebook. In addition, RPB will donate $1 for every like on our 'Are You Brave Enough' campaign to NBCF.
Without American heroes, the American dream would not exist. And despite the saying 'Dreams are free', it is not always true. Indebted to the courage and valor of America's fallen soldiers, we have made it our mission to help support the children left behind, ensuring they not only survive but thrive, by achieving their highest potential in life.
For the month of February, RPB will donate $20 for every GX4 Gas Monitor and $5 for every Radex Airline Filter sold to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Helping hopes and dreams of tomorrow soar.
In October 2015, Pink was the new Green! To show our full support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, we at RPB Safety created the limited edition Pink Nova 3! It had all the same features as our regular Nova 3, but was PINK! 100% of every sale, which equated to $25000, went directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
The American Red Cross exists to provide care in 5 key areas: Disaster Relief, Supporting America’s Military Families, Lifesaving Blood, Health and Safety Services and International Services. RPB recently donated funds to this charity which, due to the extensive nature of their services, we felt was the most appropriate way of giving so it can be applied where it is most needed currently.
No Limbs is a charity that was set up to support Jesse Stewart, who was born in the year 2000 with no arms or legs. The charity sells products that feature his “mouth art” to raise funds for equipment that is not provided by the Government. For the past 2 years, RPB has purchased calendars from No Limbs to help him save up for a car that he can drive in a year’s time when he is old enough to get his license.
Changing the face of mens health, the Movember Foundation is a charity that raises funds to create a positive change in men’s health globally. Last year, RPB had a product promotion to raise funds for Movember and increase awareness. We also recently made a monetary contribution to this charity and several of our staff participate annually in the Movember program to raise funds.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provide accommodation near hospitals for families of sick children and financial assistance for medical care in vulnerable communities. RPB chose to donate to this charity because of their financial support to children who need it, their strong family culture and the positive impact that has on the healing process of the people they help and society in general.
RPB donated time and resources to assist the rescue efforts after the Christchurch earthquake on Febuary 22, 2011. Our Christchurch Branch became the management center for the Latimer Food Group that provided hot food and refreshments around the clock to rescue workers in the Christchurch CBD for 8 days following the earthquake. Most of our staff donated time to serving as part of this group. We also donated our double-palm leather gloves to rescue workers.
